The Gładyszów Hucul Stud Farm in Regietów is located about 40 km from Krynica Zdrój. It is the largest stud of this type not only in Europe, but also in the world. Huculs are small primitive mountain horses, one of the oldest Polish breeds, which are definitely lower than English horses, and also much calmer. They are characterized by high intelligence and perseverance at work. They are by default gentle and smart animals. The Gładyszów Hucul Stud Farm in Regietów was established in 1984, when it was decided to build a horse stud. A year later the first batch of horses was moved there. This is undoubtedly one of the most attractive places in the region and it is certainly worth visiting while you spend time somewhere in the vicinity of Beskids. A trip to Regietów will be an interesting experience not only for children, but for all horse lovers, because the calm and friendly Hucul is a great "family" horse.
