Małopolska is a genuine paradise for beginner and advanced cavers alike. It is home to 12 out of Poland’s 22 caves which are available for tourists.
Małopolska’s curious underworld – with its intricate labyrinths, underground rivers, unique stalactite and stalagmite dripstone and grot-toes with the traces of prehistory – is on a par with some famous places of the kind abroad. In most cases these are dripstone caves, most of which can be found in the Tatra mountains and in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland
